Administration on Aging (AOA)
Information about the agency, mission, budget and organizational structure.

American Association of Retired Persons (AARP)
A membership organization leading positive social change and delivering value to people age 50 and over through information, advocacy and service.

American Society on Aging
The largest organization of multidisciplinary professionals in the field of aging. Resources, publications and educational opportunities that are geared towards enhancing the knowledge and skills of people working with older adults and their families.

Area Agency on Aging
Their primary mission is to build the capacity of its members to help older persons and persons with disabilities live with dignity and choices in their homes and communities for as long as possible.

Eldercare Locator
Local information, referral resources and contact information for state and local agencies from the United States' Health and Human Services Department.

National Family Caregivers Association (NFCA)

American Association of Intelectual and Developmental Disabilities (AAIDD)
AAIDD is an international association that promotes progressive policies, sound research, effective practices and universal human rights for people with disibilities.

Administration on Developmental Disabilities
Federal agency devoted to the needs and issues of people with developmental disabilities and their families. Site includes program information, related links and research results.

American Association on Mental Retardation (AAMR)
News, information, white papers and position statements.

The Arc of the United States
Online access to facts, resources, advocacy information and news for people with mental retardation and related developmental disabilities.

The Center on Human Policy, Law and Disability Studies at Syracuse University
Information on human policy, law and disability studies.

The Council on Quality and Leadership
An international non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the quality of services and supports for people with disabilities. This is accomplished through its accreditation services, training programs and research division.

National Dissemenation Center for Children with Disabilities (NICHCY)
A central source of information on disabilities in infants, toddlers, children and youth; IDEA, which is the law authorizing special education; No Child Left Behind (as it relates to children with disabilities); and research-based information on effective educational practices.

Research & Training Center on Family Support and Children's Mental Health
The Center's research and training activities focus on improving services to children and youth who have mental, emotional or behavioral disorders and their families.

Family Voices
Aims to achieve family-centered care for all children and youth with special health care needs and/or disabilities.
